To integrate AHAs into your body care routine in the best way, follow these four steps:
Choose the right concentration: Start with a lower concentration (5-10%) if you have no experience with AHAs yet. This allows your skin to get used to the exfoliating effect gradually.
Evening use: It is best to apply AHA products in the evening so your skin can regenerate overnight. This way you avoid additional sensitivity from sun exposure.
Moisturise afterwards: After use, you should apply a soothing moisturiser. This prevents dryness and supports the skin's regeneration.

FAQ – AHA for skincare
AHA is particularly suitable for normal to oily skin. People with sensitive skin should start with lower concentrations to avoid skin irritation.
Mild irritation such as redness or tingling is normal. If reactions are stronger, use should be reduced.
For most skin types, it makes sense to use AHA two to three times a week. If your skin tolerates it well, the frequency can be increased. At the beginning, however, it is always advisable to use products really only two to three times.
