The Body Crush Duo is the juno&me body shaving set for smooth, well-cared-for skin all over your body. It combines the 2in1 AHA Body Scrub (160 ml) and the Body Shaving Oil (60 ml). First you exfoliate your skin in the shower, then you shave with the oil. This way, the duo cares for your skin while you shave.
Step 1: exfoliate with the 2in1 AHA Body Scrub.
Did you know that pores clogged by excess sebum and dead skin cells are one of the most common causes of blemishes and ingrown hairs? The 2in1 AHA Body Scrub gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin and prepares it perfectly for shaving. The combination of natural exfoliating particles made from volcanic rock and deep-acting AHA fruit acids removes dead skin cells, sebum and dirt, clears the pores and ensures a more even complexion. For a more intensive effect, the scrub can also be left on as a mask for a few minutes. The AHAs in the scrub are lactic acid and mandelic acid. AHA acids promote cell renewal and refine the complexion, while niacinamide regulates sebum production and strengthens the skin barrier. Nourishing prickly pear seed oil protects the skin from environmental influences and supports regeneration. Together with nourishing shea butter, it intensively moisturises the skin and helps prevent irritation. How to use: 1 to 3 times a week in the shower.

For less irritated skin, fewer razor bumps and no razor burn, the Body Shaving Oil ensures a particularly gentle and thorough shave on legs, underarms, arms and in the bikini area. The light 2in1 formula protects the skin, provides moisture and leaves a supple skin feel. Unlike shaving foam, the skin stays visible, so you can shave more precisely. Just a few drops form a protective film between skin and blade, so the blade glides gently and irritation is reduced. The shaving oil is also suitable for the intimate area and is the ideal addition to your intimate care routine. Nourishing ingredients such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil and aloe vera soothe the skin while you shave, intensively moisturise it and give it a well-cared-for, healthy-looking finish. How to use: 2 to 3 pumps on damp skin, depending on the area of the body.

Exfoliating: Use the scrub 1 to 3 times a week in the shower or bath to prepare for body shaving. Apply the scrub with a little water in circular movements to the desired areas of the body to cleanse the skin thoroughly. If needed, leave it on for a few minutes to boost the exfoliating effect, and also use the 2in1 AHA Body Scrub as a cleansing mask for blemishes on the body. Then rinse off with warm water.
Sun protection: Use at least SPF 30 if you go out in the sun after exfoliating. Avoid exfoliating immediately before or after intensive sunbathing, as this can irritate the skin further.
Shaving: For optimal results with our shaving oil, using it correctly is key. Moisten your skin with warm water before shaving. Massage 2 to 3 pumps, depending on the area of the body, of the Body Shaving Oil into the damp skin and leave it on for a few seconds to soften the hairs. Then you can shave as usual. Make sure to clear hairs from your razor regularly to achieve optimal results.

How does a chemical exfoliant differ from a mechanical one?
Mechanical exfoliants usually contain fine granules made from various raw materials, such as fruit stones, salts or bamboo granules, which are rubbed over the skin during use to create an exfoliating effect. Chemical exfoliants, on the other hand, use various acids (AHA, BHA & PHA) and can therefore penetrate deeper into the skin to remove dead cells. The 2in1 AHA Body Scrub contains both fine exfoliating particles made from natural volcanic rock and two different AHA acids that also remove dead skin cells.
Tip: If you leave the scrub on and use it as a body mask, the AHA acids can penetrate deeper into the layers of the skin and develop their full effect.
Does the scrub with AHA acids make the skin thinner and more vulnerable?
No, quite the opposite: your skin is even strengthened, as the production of the skin's own components is stimulated. With regular use, only the horny layer (the outermost layer of skin) becomes thinner. This process is important for the skin, however, because over time your outermost layer of skin becomes thicker and thicker and keratinised. This makes it harder and harder for nourishing substances to penetrate. In addition, keratinisation and clogged pores make your skin look tired and dull, and ingrown hairs and blemishes occur more often. You can counteract this effect with the 2in1 AHA Body Scrub.
Why should I use shaving oil instead of foam?
Compared with thick shaving foam, shaving oil lets you see exactly where you are shaving, so you can shave very well even on particularly tricky areas of the body. The oil also lets the razor blade glide particularly gently over your skin, helping to prevent shaving injuries. This makes the shaving oil ideal for women with sensitive skin, too.
Can the shaving oil clog my razor blades?
It is important to rinse the blade regularly while shaving, as hairs and product residue naturally collect in the blade and can 'clog' it. Ideally, rinse the blade with warm water after every stroke. This way, shaving with our shaving oil is easy and pleasant.
Is shaving oil suitable for sensitive skin?
