The Period Panty String Duo – Light contains 2 period thongs: the Ribbed Cotton String and the Seamless String. The duo is designed as period underwear for light days, spotting and intermenstrual bleeding. It is an ideal alternative to panty liners, especially during sport.
What is inside the Period Panty Strings?
Feels drier than pads or panty liners, but is just as absorbent! Our special 5-Layer Smart Dry Technology fully absorbs the menstrual blood and locks it into the core of the absorbent layers. The last layer acts as leak protection, so you feel safe and dry all day long. The layers are super soft and thin, but particularly effective. Each thong is as absorbent as 1 regular tampon and locks in menstrual blood securely for up to 8 hours. Our panties are manufactured to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Ribbed Cotton String or Seamless String: what is the difference?
The Ribbed Cotton String is made of 93% cotton and 7% elastane. It is ideal for everyday wear and offers ultimate comfort and support thanks to its wider waistband. The Seamless String is made of 82% polyamide and 18% elastane. It is ideal for sport and invisible under sports leggings. Both flatter every curve and adapt to your figure.
Why 2 thongs at once?
With 2 thongs you wear one while the other dries. Reusable and eco-friendly, the Period Panty Strings are a complete replacement for disposable hygiene products and therefore super sustainable! You can also use the Period Panty Strings as a back-up for a tampon or menstrual cup. As a replacement for panty liners, the thongs are also effective for discharge and particularly practical during sport.

Single, duo or more absorbency?
A single Ribbed Cotton String or Seamless String is enough to try it out. In the duo you get 2 thongs for less than buying them separately. You can see the saving right next to the price. On average, 5-7 panties per cycle are enough for a whole period, depending on how heavy your bleeding is. For more absorbency, the Period Panty Cheeky Lace Duo – Medium contains 2 briefs, each as absorbent as 2 regular tampons. The Leo Seamless Slip - Medium Duo offers 2 high-waist briefs with medium absorbency. For heavier days and at night there is the Comfy Brief – Strong. Periods and sport: what helps?
How your cycle affects your training is explained in our guide cycle and sport. What helps on hot days is covered in period in summer. For cleansing, the pH-balanced Intimate Cleansing Foam is a good match.
Once you have put it on, you will never want another panty, promise!
Before using it for the first time, you should wash your new Period Panty at 30°. If you are using the Period Panty for the first time and still feel a little unsure, you can initially wear the panty in combination with a tampon to get used to how it feels.
The thong models hold up to 1 regular tampon, and you can wear them all day for discharge or spotting.
How to wash your panty:
HAND JOB
After using your Period Panty, rinse it thoroughly with cold water as soon as possible until the water runs clear.
WASH IT REAL GOOD
Then you can wash it as usual in the washing machine at 30 degrees. But please without bleach or fabric softener.
DRY HARD
Then hang your Period Panty up to air-dry. Please do NOT put it in the tumble dryer, as it cannot tolerate heat.
LET IT FLOW
Now your Period Panty is ready for action again and ready to rock your next flow with you!

Our Period Panties feature the innovative 5-Layer Smart Dry Technology. 5 super absorbent layers ensure a worry-free period:
The 1st layer is breathable and kind to the skin and ensures that the blood is passed on to the next layer within seconds. This makes the absorbent gusset feel soft and dry on the skin.
The 2nd layer absorbs the blood super fast and channels it into the core of the absorbent gusset.
The 3rd layer makes the panty leak-proof. It is super absorbent, absorbs the blood and locks it in without odour.
The 4th layer forms an additional membrane, is absolutely leak-proof and guarantees a dry feel.
The 5th layer offers you maximum wearing comfort and is also super soft and kind to the skin.

How does the 5-Layer Smart Dry Technology work?
Our period underwear thongs use five layers that absorb fluid quickly, lock in moisture and guarantee a dry feel on the skin.
How much does one thong absorb?
As much as 1 regular tampon. The 5-Layer Smart Dry Technology absorbs menstrual blood and locks it in securely for up to 8 hours. The thongs are designed for light period days, spotting, intermenstrual bleeding and discharge.
Can I use the thongs instead of panty liners?
Yes, our period underwear thongs offer enough protection for light days and can fully replace panty liners, especially during sport.
Do I need an additional pad or do I need to use additional tampons or pads?
No. The Period Panty Strings serve as a complete replacement for disposable items and easily hold 1 regular tampon of fluid. However, if you are unsure or are trying the panty for the first time, you can also wear it as a back-up with a tampon, pad or menstrual cup to give you a secure feeling.
What is the difference between the Ribbed Cotton String and the Seamless String?
Material and waistband. The Ribbed Cotton String is made of 93% cotton and 7% elastane and offers support thanks to its wider waistband, ideal for everyday wear. The Seamless String is made of 82% polyamide and 18% elastane and is invisible under sports leggings.
How eco-friendly is the Period String Duo?
The duo significantly reduces waste, as our period underwear thongs are reusable and made from sustainable materials.
How often can I reuse my panty?
Period underwear is highly durable and therefore super sustainable. With regular use and proper care, you can use the panty for around 2-3 years.
How many panties do I need for a whole period?
On average, 5-7 panties per cycle should be absolutely sufficient. This depends on how heavy your bleeding is and how many days your period lasts. On light days and for discharge, one thong lasts the whole day.
How do I wash the Period Panty?
Cold first, then at 30 degrees. Rinse it with cold water as soon as possible after wearing until the water runs clear. Then wash it in the machine at 30 degrees without bleach or fabric softener and let it air-dry. Please do not put it in the tumble dryer.
Which size fits me?
The duo comes in sizes XS to 5XL, and both thongs come in the same size. Use the size chart in the gallery with dress size and hip measurement.
