Care products

All juno&me products are vegan. Vegan means that no ingredients of animal origin are used.

It goes without saying that our products are not tested on animals either . Good to know: Animal testing has been banned in the EU since 2013.

You can also find juno&me on the PETA listwhich lists companies that actively oppose animal testing.

The quality of our products is our top priority. For this reason, all care products are manufactured exclusively in Germany to the highest quality standards. We also pay attention to high quality and short delivery routes when it comes to the origin of the individual ingredients, so that we source the ingredients as locally as possible.

The natural origin of our products is very important to us. They have been tested and approved for their compatibility in accordance with EU regulations. The care formulas have also been dermatologically tested and found to be 100% safe for normal skin and free from irritating and questionable ingredients. If you struggle with allergies, we recommend that you test the products in the crook of your arm before use.

We recommend that you test the product in the crook of your arm before use. You should make sure that you do not test it on irritated or damaged skin. Observe your skin closely. If no redness, itching, pustules or similar irritations occur within 24 hours, you can use the products without hesitation.

The female intimate area is equipped with a natural acid mantle, the so-called intimate flora.

This consists of various microorganisms that protect our vagina from the spread of pathogens. These microorganisms ensure an acidic pH value of ~ < 5.0 in the external intimate area, which differs from the pH value of the rest of our skin, which is ~ 5.5. It is therefore important to adapt intimate care to the pH value in order to prevent irritation and irritation. The juno&me intimate care products have been developed for the external intimate area and are perfectly adapted to the vulva. In addition, the intimate care products are enriched with special active ingredients (including lactic acid) to support the protective function of the intimate flora.

Our products have been specially developed for use in the external genital area, i.e. your vulva. The vulva refers to the outer part of the vagina, including the mons veneris and the labia. The inner intimate area, i.e. the vagina, is self-cleaning and does not require any other care products.

Period products

Period panties are underwear that you can wear during your period and that absorb and contain menstrual blood thanks to a highly absorbent insert. This means you don't need to use tampons or pads and can still go through your period without leaking.

Just like normal underwear, wash your period panties after each use. It is particularly important that you wash them in cold water immediately after use until the water runs clear again. Then you can wash them as usual in the machine at 30° with other items of clothing.

Depending on how heavy your bleeding is, you can wear the panty for up to 8 hours. If your bleeding varies and is difficult to assess, simply check your panties more frequently and change them early.

You can easily wash the panties in the washing machine at 30°, even with other items of clothing. You should definitely rinse them with cold water beforehand until the water runs clear again. Please do not wash them at temperatures above 30° and do not iron them, as the special interlining does not tolerate high heat!

Of course. Simply wash them as usual with the rest of your underwear or other items of clothing at 30°. It is important that you rinse them thoroughly by hand with water beforehand.

Our absorbent pad consists of 5 thin and super effective layers:

1st layer: 100% cotton

2nd layer: 80% polyester and 20% nylon

3rd layer: 80% polyester and 20% nylon

4th layer: 100% polyester TPU

5th layer: 91% nylon and 9% spandex

Period underwear is very durable and therefore super sustainable. You can use the panties for approx. 2-3 years with regular use and proper care.

No. The Period Panty serves as a complete replacement for disposable items and easily holds several tampons of fluid. However, if you are unsure or are trying the panty for the first time, you can also wear it as a back-up with a tampon, pad or menstrual cup to give you a secure feeling.

That depends on which model you use: The Seamless High Waist Period Panty is as absorbent as 3 tampons, i.e. it absorbs approx. 30ml of fluid. It is perfect for light to moderate bleeding.

The Feel Good Day & Night Period Panty is as absorbent as 5 tampons and absorbs up to 50ml of fluid. They are perfect for moderate to heavy bleeding and are also ideal for use at night thanks to the extended leakage protection and extra high absorbent insert.

Period underwear is no less hygienic than tampons or pads. In fact, they are even safer and counteract toxic shock syndrome (TSS), as the blood can drain better and you don't have to insert any 'foreign objects'. (In addition, the absorbent layers of the absorbent pad support an antibacterial function to minimize the spread of bacteria or odours).

The use of silver chloride and other biocides is generally very controversial, especially in relation to period underwear. These chemical additives are supposed to prevent the development and growth of germs, but they can also affect the skin's microbiome. As contact with the mucous membranes in the intimate area cannot be ruled out through the use of period underwear, our vaginal flora can also be affected and thrown out of balance. Biocides also have a certain allergy potential, but this has not yet been sufficiently proven. When period underwear is washed, biocides can also be released from the layers, which can weaken the bacteria-inhibiting function of the panty, but can also have a negative impact on aquatic organisms.

On average, 5-7 panties per cycle should be absolutely sufficient. Of course, this depends on how heavy your bleeding is and how many days your period lasts. You can also start with 3-4 panties and wash them immediately after use to get a feel for how often you need to change them.

Our tampons are made from 100% premium organic cotton and are manufactured in Germany according to the strictest quality standards.

The pad film is made from 100% recyclable plastic. It is BPA-free and contains no plasticizers. As tampons are a hygiene product, the tampon film must be extremely tear-resistant and sealed so that no bacteria or moisture can enter. The regulations for placing hygiene products on the market are very strict. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to switch to an "organic film". However, we are working hard to make the film 100% biodegradable, just like our tampons.
