Why three different hyaluronic acids? Because not all hyaluronic acid is the same. Depending on chain length and technology, it takes on different tasks in a skincare formula. That is why the complex combines a long-chain, a short-chain and an encapsulated hyaluronic acid. Together they form a multi-level system: smooth instantly → plump → store moisture.

01: Volume & plumping with 3x hyaluronic acid

Long-chain hyaluronic acid: instant smoothing effect. The long-chain hyaluronic acid works mainly on the skin’s surface. It binds a lot of water and settles on the skin like a hydrating film. The skin’s surface immediately looks smoother, more supple and better hydrated, and fine dryness lines appear visibly softened.

Short-chain hyaluronic acid: intensive hydration and plumping. The short-chain hyaluronic acid has a smaller molecular structure. It complements surface hydration and supports more intensive hydration of the upper layers of the skin. The skin can look plumper, more elastic and fuller, especially when it has lost firmness through lack of moisture.

Encapsulated hyaluronic acid: holding moisture for longer. Encapsulation embeds hyaluronic acid in the formula in a controlled way and supports the skin’s moisture supply over a longer period. While the long-chain form provides the fast effect on the surface and the short-chain form supports intensive hydration, the encapsulated hyaluronic acid adds a longer-lasting moisture reservoir to the system.

Why the combination matters: A single form of hyaluronic acid could only ever do part of this. Long-chain smooths instantly, short-chain hydrates intensively and plumps, encapsulated keeps moisture available for longer. This is exactly what makes up the hyaluronic acid technology of plump me up.

02: Moisture boost with Pentavitin®

Pentavitin® is a skin-identical moisture complex based on plant-derived sugar structures. It supports the skin’s ability to bind moisture and adds a further hydration mechanism to the hyaluronic acid system. While hyaluronic acid can bind large amounts of water, Pentavitin® supports long-lasting hydration so the skin feels supple and comfortably moisturised. This way the immediate plumping effect is complemented by continuous hydration: hydrate → hold → plump.

03: Barrier Support & Moisture Lock with ceramides, panthenol, cica, shea & mango butter

Adding moisture is only half the job. Well-hydrated skin also needs an intact skin barrier. If the natural protective barrier is weakened, moisture can escape more quickly and the skin looks drier, rougher and less supple. That is why plump me up also contains barrier-strengthening ingredients.

Ceramides are natural components of the skin barrier and an important part of the lipid structure between skin cells. They help the skin maintain its natural protective function and reduce moisture loss. Panthenol supports hydration and is known for its skin-soothing properties. Cica (Centella asiatica) is widely used in skincare for stressed and sensitive skin and supports a balanced, well-cared-for skin feel. Shea and mango butter provide valuable lipids, help keep moisture in the skin and reduce feelings of dryness and tightness. This is the second step of the plumping principle: not only adding moisture, but also holding on to it better.

The pack contains 50 ml. Depending on the amount you use, a 50 ml pack lasts around 4 to 6 weeks with daily use.
